Permits

Dumpster Permits

If a dumpster is located within the Right of Way, a permit is required. The fee is $25.

Temporary Water Meter Permits

The permit fee is $100 plus water usage. Water is read monthly or when the meter is returned—whichever occurs first.

Inspections

• The City Engineer’s Office inspects sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water, and right-of-way work within Huntington and surrounding areas.
• Inspections are mandatory and require a valid permit issued by our office.
• A 24-hour notice is required for all inspections.
