About the Arboretum
Evergreen Park's Arboretum was planted in April 2022. It features more than 40 native Indiana tree species. As the young trees grow and mature, we also hope to add more walking trails, an outdoor event space and educational materials about the tree collection.
The arboretum wouldn't be possible without the hard work and support of:
- Huntington Parks & Recreation staff
- The Mayor's Advisory Council on Environmental Stewardship
- The Huntington Tree Board
- And (of course!) our community volunteers!
18-Hole Disc Golf Course
Evergreen Park is also home to an exciting and challenging 18-hole disc golf course, maintained by Huntington County Disc Golf. The course layout, descriptions and more can be found on the UDisc website.
