About the Arboretum

The Evergreen Park Arboretum features over 40 native Indiana tree species and was planted during April 28–30, 2022. As the trees mature, additional walking trails, an outdoor event space, and educational signage are planned. We also aim for official arboretum designation in northeast Indiana.

The arboretum wouldn't be possible without the Huntington Parks & Recreation staff, the Mayor's Advisory Council on Environmental Stewardship, and our community volunteers.
