Deputy Director Thomas Fuller

Thomas Fuller serves as the Deputy Director for Huntington County Emergency Management, bringing a strong commitment to public safety and emergency preparedness. Originally from Wabash County, Thomas has been a resident of Huntington County since 2023.

Thomas is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management at American Public University while working full-time with Huntington County EMA. His dedication to the field is evident through his continued education and training. In 2021, he earned a Law Enforcement Certification from Vincennes University, and he has since completed the FEMA Basic Emergency Management Academy. Most recently, he obtained his Professional Emergency Manager (PEM) certification through the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.

Beyond his daily duties at EMA, Thomas actively contributes to public safety and community resilience through his involvement in multiple boards and committees, including:

  • Huntington County Humane Society
  • Huntington County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC)
  • Huntington County Emergency Management Advisory Board
  • Huntington County Public Safety Dispatch Board
  • Safe Schools Committee
  • Safe Prom Committee
  • Huntington County Fire Chiefs Association

With a strong foundation in emergency management, law enforcement, and community involvement, Thomas continues to be a valuable member of the team working to keep Huntington County safe and prepared.
