Summer Parks and Recreations for Kids – or SPARK – is back for 2022! Registration opens on Monday, April 4, and costs just $25 per child. (Please do not send in your registration before this date!)
SPARK is a six-week summer day camp for children between the ages of 4 and 14. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from June 6 to July 15. Locations are Drover Park, Memorial Park and General Slack Park in Huntington.
Games and outdoor activities will be centered around a "detective" theme this summer. Register at the City Services office, 634 Webster St., or by emailing a completed registration form to megan.thompson@huntington.in.us. (A separate registration form is required for each child being enrolled.)
The Huntington County Community School Corporation will provide lunch once again this year on camp days. Parents and guardians will be responsible for providing transportation to and from camp each day.
