Board Appointments Available for Interested Citizens

The Huntington County Council has multiple Board Appointments available for interested citizens to serve on starting in 2026. Appointments include a seat on the Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) Board, which is a 1-year term starting on 01/01/2026, and expiring on 12/31/2026. Candidates must be 21 years of age and must have lived in the county for the past 5 years. Applicants cannot be a full- or part-time public employee or hold a lucrative government office.

Also available is a seat on the Property Tax Board of Appeals (PTABOA). This appointment is for a term of one (1) year, starting on 01/01/2026 and expiring on 12/31/2026. The PTABOA meets on an as-needed basis.
