HUNTINGTON – The Huntington Parks Department’s “Touch a Truck” event is set to return at a new location with more to see and do than ever before.

“Touch a Truck” will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 21, at the Huntington Municipal Airport, located at 1365 Warren Road. The event previously was held in downtown Huntington.

Where “Touch a Truck” featured city vehicles such as police cars and firetrucks in past years, much has been added to the new lineup.

“We’re going to have over 20 different types of vehicles like airplanes, semi-trucks, tractors, heavy equipment and more,” Parks Programs Director Megan Thompson said. “Everyone can come see, touch and explore it all.”

The family-friendly event is great for kids, allowing them to get an up-close look at different vehicles and learn more about them in a hands-on environment.

Admission is free. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
