HUNTINGTON – Huntington County’s vaccine clinic at Crestview Middle School will be closed Tuesday due to anticipated heavy snowfall.
Rhonda Adams with the Huntington County Health Department said each of Tuesday’s appointments will be rescheduled for Saturday, February 20. Anyone whose appointment is affected will be contacted by the Health Department.
A short delay in receiving the vaccine’s second dose does not lower its effectiveness. Individuals whose second dose is delayed by Tuesday’s closure are encouraged to make a strong effort to keep their new Saturday appointment.
The Huntington County Health Department administers the COVID-19 vaccine inside the gymnasium at Crestview Middle School, located at 1151 W 500 N in Huntington.
Normal operations at the clinic will resume Wednesday as scheduled.
The Health Department thanks everyone for their patience and understanding.
