Answers to commonly asked questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine have been prepared with the assistance of interim Huntington County Health Officer Dr. Matt Pflieger and the Huntington County Health Department's Rhonda Adams. Please use this resource to help you make the best decision for yourself, your family and your community.

All Indiana residents 12 and older are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine. To sign up, visit ourshot.in.gov or call 211.

  • The Pfizer vaccine is approved for anyone 12+.
  • The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are approved for anyone 18+.
  • The state's vaccination site will show you which vaccine is available at clinics near you when you enter your ZIP code.

Local assistance scheduling a vaccination appointment is available through the Huntington City-Township Public Library at (260) 356-2900. Staff is available to assist from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
