To slow the spread of COVID-19, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that you wear a cloth, non-medical face mask in public settings where social distancing is difficult. Follow this guide to ensure you're wearing your mask correctly:

  • Wear your mask so it covers from the bridge of your nose down to under your chin.
  • Tighten the mask so it fits snugly against the side of your face.

Once you have correctly put on your mask:

  • Don't fidget with your mask.
  • Keep the mask on until you are inside your home.
  • Wash your hands before and after wearing the mask.
  • Use the ties or loops to pull it on and off.
  • Wash your mask daily and keep it in a clean place.

Don't forget to wash your hands and practice social distancing. Wearing a face mask is not a replacement for other preventative practices.
