The City of Huntington is accepting applications for City Utilities Distribution/Collection Apprentice. This important position ensures City residents have consistent access to city utilities. As an apprentice you can make up to $21.79 per hour, and as a Journeyman up to $22.90 per hour. This position requires that you have or obtain a Class A CDL with Tank Vehicle Endorsement. Don’t have a CDL? Let us help you get it with our in-house training program. Employees have the opportunity to increase salary by obtaining utility certification through the State of Indiana after one year of service. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills with a friendly attitude of service, and must be able to work in all weather conditions.
