There will be a need to install a temporary sewage bypass pump this week at the Jefferson and Market intersection. This will impact downtown traffic between Tuesday and Friday, weather permitting. Full closures won’t be needed, so vehicle traffic can proceed with extra caution on Jefferson and Market. You'll have access to all downtown businesses and restaurants.

The intersection of Market and Cherry streets will remain closed for about the next month. The smaller-scale sewer installation at this location was designed to allow the most disruptive parts of Long-Term Control Plan construction to bypass the immediate downtown area.
