County Notices

The Huntington County Council is accepting applications for a partial-term Board Appointment available for interested citizens to serve on the Board of Zoning & Appeals (BZA) with a term that will begin on as soon as possible and expire on December 31, 2027. (The appointment to this board is normally a four (4) year term; however, this position was vacated mid-term.)

Service on this board is a volunteer activity, and the candidates cannot be a member of the Plan Commission or hold any elected or appointed office.

Applications are available at the Huntington County Auditor’s office or online. Completed forms can be submitted by e-mail to jill.landrum@huntington.in.us, or by bringing it to the Auditor’s Office in room 103 of the Huntington County Courthouse, by noon on September 30, 2026.
