Notice is hereby given that the Huntington County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on the following applications:
Docket Number: BZA-25-027

- Request: Appeal of an approval granted by the Hearing Officer on October 16, 2025, to allow a shipping container in an R-2 zoning district.

- Zoning Classification: A (Agricultural)
- Location: 3581 E. Shafer Road, Warren, Indiana and 8876S – 400E, Warren, Indiana
- Request: Appeal of the Administrative Denial of an Improvement Location Permit for a Solar Energy System.
This hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in the County Courthouse, 201 North Jefferson Street, Room 207, GAR Room, Huntington, Indiana.
THIS MEETING WILL BE LIVESTREAMED ON YOUTUBE.
All interested persons are invited to attend. Written objections to the application filed with the Department of Community Development will be considered at the hearing along with oral comments from interested persons at the hearing. All written objections must be received 24-hours prior to the start time of the meeting. The hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
A copy of the application is on file for examination prior to the hearing in the office of the Department of Community Development, County Courthouse Room 204, 201 North Jefferson Street, Huntington, Indiana, (260) 358-4840.
