Citywide leaf collection starts October 8, weather permitting. Since the time needed to complete each zone varies from day to day, pickup won’t occur on a set schedule for each area. Facebook updates will be posted often, or you can call (260) 356-4720 to find crews’ current locations.

What to do:

• Have leaves at the curb by 7 a.m. each Monday to ensure prompt pickup the next time your zone is being serviced.
• Alternatively, bagged leaves can be scheduled for pickup by calling (260) 356-4720 and following the prompts for the Brown Bag program.

For safety and maintenance:

• Don’t allow children to play in leaf piles near the street.
• Do not place leaves near storm drains.
• Keep storm drains clear of debris.
