Traffic Notice for Warren Street Area

Due to ongoing sewer construction at Warren and Tipton as part of the Long-Term Control Plan, the section of Warren Street north of Park Drive will temporarily allow two-way traffic. Residents north of Tipton are encouraged to use Roche or John Streets for access. While we can’t anticipate every situation, we trust that some extra caution will help everyone safely navigate and park in the area.

Jefferson/Tipton Progress

Underground work at Jefferson and Tipton is nearing completion. Curb and sidewalk installation will follow, with repaving of Tipton Street (except between Jefferson and Byron) beginning in the coming weeks.

Sewer installation is in its final stretch. Crews are now at the Warren/Tipton intersection and are nearing the final tie-in at Byron — just two blocks to go. Once that’s done, road restoration will pick up pace.

This work is part of state and federal mandates to reduce combined sewer overflows and protect our waterways. We understand the disruption has been challenging, and we appreciate your continued patience as we bring this major, long-term project to the finish line.
