Request Extra Police Patrols

The public may request extra patrols to alert officers to pay particular attention to a specific location during their routine patrols. A reason for requesting extra patrol includes going out of town for more than 48 hours without anyone to watch your house. You may also request extra patrol for a particular problem such as a concern that someone may attempt to harm you or your property. To request an extra patrol due to a specific concern or threat you are recommended to contact the Huntington Police Department for more information.

I will be out of town for a family reunion. Besides the house I have an unattached garage at the rear of the property. I have lamp on timer in the front living room. There should be no one at my residence the entire time I am gone.
