Pre-Trial Diversion Program
Overview and Costs
Pre-Trial Diversion is a six-month or one-year program that, if successfully completed, the charges will be dismissed. The fee for the six month program is $334.00; the fee for the one-year program is $454.00. $184.00 is due the day you sign the contract and the remainder in monthly installments of $30.00.
Offenses Eligible for Pre-Trial Diversion
- Check Deception
- Public Intoxication
- Minor in Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage
- Theft/Conversion
- Driving While Suspended
- Possession of Marijuana
If you have never participated in a Pre-Trial Diversion program (or are currently on a pre-trial diversion program) for any offense, you MAY qualify. Other qualifying guidelines apply for each specific offense. To see if you qualify, please contact Emily Kintigh at (260) 358-4846.
