The Board of County Commissioners is the chief legislative body in Huntington County. The Commissioners meet every other Monday at 8:30 a.m. in Room 103A of the Huntington County Courthouse. Meeting dates may change due to holidays or other scheduling conflicts.
Commissioners are elected to four-year terms by district and represent their respective geographic areas. Responsibilities include maintaining county roads, setting policies for county employees, supporting economic development, and safeguarding residents' health, safety, and welfare.
