Police/Incident Reports

*To obtain a copy of a police report or incident report, please visit our office Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  These reports are not available for purchase online.

*There is a $10.00 charge per report and you must provide a photo ID

*You must be a party to the incident in order to purchase a copy.  If you are not a party to the accident, you will need to fill out a county public records request available at

*If you are from an insurance company, you may mail a request for the report along with a $5.00 certified check or money order.  Please be sure to include the date of the incident, party involved and location if possible.  Our address is 332 E. State Street, Huntington, IN 46750

*Our office accepts the following forms of payment: cash, money order or certified check

Evictions (10 day notices)

*Evictions may be filed at the Sheriff's Office, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

*There is a $27.00 process fee due upon filing

*Forms and instructions are available under forms and applications in the document center of this webpage.  They are also available for pickup in our office during office hours.
